# INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Pali Wallet, the official Syscoin & Rollux wallet, powered by the talented minds at Pollum. Pali Wallet is a secure, open-source, and evolving browser extension designed to facilitate seamless interactions with blockchains and decentralized applications (dApps) across all EVM-compatible chains.
At Pali Wallet, we value user privacy and uphold the decentralized ethos of blockchain technology. We make a conscious effort to minimize and, wherever feasible, eliminate the exposure of personal data when using our extension.
Pali Wallet does not collect, store, or have access to your private keys, account information, or passwords. We do not monetize user data and do not engage in data collection for marketing or advertising purposes.
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Pali Wallet handles and protects the personal information of users who interact with our browser extension ("Extension") and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By installing and using the Extension and/or the Services, you acknowledge and agree to the collection, use, and handling of your information as described in this Policy.
# THE BLOCKCHAIN
Considering the inherent transparency of blockchain networks such as Syscoin & Rollux, transactions performed using Pali Wallet may be publicly accessible. This includes, but is not limited to, your public wallet address, the recipient's address, transaction amounts, and any data included in transactions. Data stored on the blockchain is immutable and cannot be erased.
As blockchain networks operate in a decentralized and public manner, transactions and wallet addresses may be analyzed and correlated, potentially revealing identifiable information. We encourage users to understand blockchain privacy implications before transacting.
# WHAT WE COLLECT
Pali Wallet does not actively collect personal information. However, we may collect and store limited data in specific circumstances, such as:
- When users contact us for support via our official channels, such as email or community forums, we may collect their email address and any additional information provided voluntarily.
- If users participate in a promotion, giveaway, or event, we may request names, email addresses, and other necessary details for processing participation.
- We may collect anonymous usage data to enhance user experience, such as tracking extension crashes or performance metrics, but without personally identifiable information.
# HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION
The limited information we collect is solely used for:
- Providing customer support and responding to user inquiries.
- Improving the Extension by analyzing performance and usage trends.
- Sending service updates, if applicable, which users may opt out of.
- Managing giveaways, events, or promotions, when applicable.
We do not sell, share, or monetize personal data.
# SHARING AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
We respect your privacy and do not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties, except:
- With service providers who assist in operating, improving, or securing the Extension (e.g., email support tools).
- If required by law, such as responding to legal requests or complying with regulatory obligations.
- During a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or restructuring, in which case users will be notified.
# DATA SECURITY
We take security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect any collected information. This includes:
- Limiting data access to only authorized personnel.
- Using secure protocols to transmit and store information.
- Avoiding unnecessary data storage to reduce risk exposure.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. By using Pali Wallet, you acknowledge and accept that no system is entirely risk-free.
# THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SITES
Pali Wallet may provide links to external dApps, services, or websites. We do not control these third-party platforms, and their privacy policies may differ from ours. Users should review their policies before engaging with such services.
# INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Pali Wallet operates globally, and any limited information collected may be stored or processed in different jurisdictions. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of data to countries that may have different privacy laws than your country of residence.
# CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Pali Wallet is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete it.
# RETENTION
We retain information only as long as necessary for:
- Customer support requests (up to 6 months).
- Promotional events (up to 90 days after conclusion).
- Anonymous usage data, which may be retained for analysis.
# CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Policy periodically. If significant changes occur, we will notify users through official channels. Continued use of Pali Wallet after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
